Patient Rooms
Patient rooms are assigned at St. Francis Medical Center based upon your admitting diagnosis and the bed availability on the day of your admission.
Every patient room is furnished with a telephone. When dialing from a hospital phone:
- Patient Room - Dial the four digit room number.
Hospital Department - Dial the four digit extension.
Local Call - Dial 9+the local number. There is no charge for local calls. - Long-Distance Calls - Long distance calls may not be charged to your room. You can make a credit card call or charge a long distance call back to your home number.
- Your family and friends may call you from outside by dialing 966-4 + the 3 digit room number or 966 + the four digit room number.
You can expect your room to be cleaned daily by a member of our Housekeeping staff. You should also find equipment in your room working properly. If you have problems with cleaning or equipment in your patient room, please dial "0" and our operator will assist you.
